Is my data safe with codereader?
Yes, you can read about itHere.
What permissions do I need to grant Codereader to my Github account?
Since codereader is a read-only client for github we only ask for read permissions so you feel comfortable giving us access. You can select to install the Github app on all of your repos or just a few to limit reach. We can read repository contents, commits, branches, releases, merges, collaborators and metadata from repos and from your profile we can read starred and watching repos plus your email.
Can I EDIT code on it?
No, we believe code editing has it’s place on Desktop with popular editors. This app is designed to explore your code and take notes on it.
Are notes synced between devices?
No, at the moment your notes are only stored locally on your device. We plan to add an optional sync service in the future but the app will always work in a local only mode for your notes privacy if you prefer so.
Can I ask for a refund?
Yes, you can ask for a refund with no questions asked on the respective app store you bought codereader pro. You can contact me or ask it directly from the app store you bought it.
Do you have a desktop app?
Not yet, but we plan to release a desktop app in the future.
How much does it cost?
It used to be a paid app but now it’s free! We offer an in-app purchase to unlock offline mode.
Which sources does it support?
At the moment we only support git through Github. We plan to support more sources in the future.
